Tyler breaks ground on Stewart Park, first new city park in more than 20 years
The City of Tyler has broken ground on Stewart Park, a project city officials said is the first new park the city has built in more than 20 years.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler has broken ground on Stewart Park, a project city officials said is the first new park the city has built in more than 20 years.
The park site is near Earl Campbell Parkway and Highway 155.
Kristi Baker with Tyler's Parks and Recreation said the park is being built on land and a home donated to the city in 2012 by the Stuart family, Gladys and T.B. Stewart.
