Energy secretary delivers Trump's 'huge thank you' to Golden Pass LNG workers, touts US as world's top gas exporter

SABINE PASS, Texas - U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright visited Golden Pass LNG in Sabine Pass on Friday, delivering a message from President Trump to workers at the facility and touting the United States' position as the world's largest natural gas exporter.

Wright said he spoke with Trump shortly before the president departed for China.

"He said, when you're down there, tell everyone thank you. Tell them not a little thank you. Tell them a huge thank you. You and what you do every day is transforming our country, transforming the economy and the security of our country, and ultimately you're transforming the world," Wright told the crowd.
