BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - For nearly 40 years, Gloria Kennard has made sure no one in Bryan-College Station goes without a meal on Thanksgiving.

Now, after a car accident left her without a vehicle, the community she's spent decades serving is stepping up to help her.

Kennard, known to many simply as "Miss Gloria," has hosted a free Thanksgiving meal every year since 1988.
