Whitesboro woman Ava Kasich, a longtime country gospel artist, was recently honored by Christian Voice Magazine in their 2026 Gospel Music Fan Awards as a "Living Legend" recognizing her decades of faithful ministry through gospel music.

Ava has spent the past 46 years sharing the gospel through song, fulfilling a dream she says began at the early age of three.

"To say I am blessed would be an understatement," Ava said.
