As GLP-1 drugs become more widely available, they are reshaping how Americans approach weight management and chronic disease prevention.
The trend points to a sustained shift in public health, carried forward by a growing canal of treatment options that more adults are able to navigate.
New poll data from the Gallup National Health and Well-Being Index says based on a survey of 5,065 adults across 50 states and the District of Columbia, asked respondents whether they had ever taken weight loss medications such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), liraglutide (Saxendo) or tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) and whether they are currently using them.
