TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A freeze-dried cat food product, sold in several states including Texas, is being voluntarily recalled after the company reported it may have low levels of an essential vitamin.

Go Raw, LLC issued an expansion of a February recall Monday to include Steve's Real Food Chicken Recipe Freeze Dried, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The company said the product could have low levels of Thiamine, or vitamin B1, which is essential to both cats and dogs, although cats are susceptible to severe health complications without it.
