The New Braunfels Independent School District board of trustees will have to redo its recent vote to elect a new president and vice president due to a procedural issue.

The trustees voted to reorganize during a regular meeting on Monday evening, declaring Nancy York elected as president, Kim Goodwin as vice president and Morgan Renaud as secretary.

However, York and Goodwin did not have more than 50%, or a majority, of the votes, according to the district.
