Throughout October, the community showed up in many amazing ways to show their support for Safer Path Family Violence Shelter and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The public took part in the Shine a Light Vigil ceremony on Oct. 22, joined others for Safer Path fundraising and awareness events at Sunshine House Coffee in Jourdanton, Pleasant Perk Coffee House in Pleasanton and CGB Gym in Jourdanton.

Proclamations were also presented at local city and county meetings.
