WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A traffic stop in Waco led to two arrests after officers found suspected cocaine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and ecstasy, according to the arrest affidavit.

Jose Reyes Jimenez III was booked on five charges and Joe Jay Mata was booked on two charges.

On Sept. 9, Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation agents and Texas Highway Patrol troopers were working enforcement in the area of La Salle Avenue and South 18th Street, when a DPS agent observed a gray Kia whose front-seat passenger, later identified as Mata, was drinking beer, according to the document.
