The classrooms of Clear Spring Elementary were filled with excitement on Thursday evening as students sorted school supplies, connected with their teachers and prepared for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

The Comal Independent School District hosted Meet the Teacher night across its campuses on Thursday, leading up to the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Clear Spring Elementary Principal Scarlett Garcia smiled as she watched families make their way down the school hallways and into classrooms.
