An Atascosa County jury has sentenced a 24-year-old man to 17 years in state prison for his involvement in a March 2024 confrontation that left a young man with life-altering injuries, officials announced Wednesday.

Jack Dylan Martinez was convicted following a three-day trial that concluded June 17, according to details released by 81st Judicial District Attorney Audrey Gossett Louis.

The jury found Martinez guilty for his role in the shooting on North Water Street in Pleasanton.
