The city of New Braunfels human resources department, in collaboration with the New Braunfels Public Library, is hosting a series of free career skills workshops this summer for residents interested in improving their career status, according to a press release.

Session 1 will be a resume skills workshop on June 29 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Session 2 will focus on interview skills on July 13 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Both sessions will take place at the Main Branch of the New Braunfels Public Library, located at 700 East Common St. Participants can attend one or both workshops, but registration is required, space is limited and some advance preparation is necessary, including bringing a copy of your current resume, the release stated.
