TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Retired astronaut Col. Eileen Collins spoke at Tyler Junior College's Earth and Space Science Center as the school launched its centennial campaign.

Collins said her path to space began at a community college."Now, I went to community college. And so that was part of my very, I would say, influential part of my life," Collins said.
