Kerrville Hills Winery owner and winemaker John Rivenburgh said the 2026 Texas harvest is producing strong fruit, even with lower yields and a picking calendar that is shifting between regions.

Rivenburgh purchased Kerrville Hills Winery in 2019 and turned it into Texas' first winery incubator, a shared space where winemakers learn techniques and work together.

The Kerrville Hills Winery's tasting room sits in a historic 1905 ranch house on the Schreiner University campus in Kerrville.
