Eight East Texas teams are heading to the state 7-on-7 tournament in College Station.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Football season is right around the corner, and a summer staple is 7-on-7.

East Texas is sending eight teams to the state 7-on-7 tournament in College Station beginning Thursday.

The East Texas teams competing are: Tyler High, Tyler Legacy, Lindale, Chapel Hill, Trinity, Jefferson, West Rusk and Daingerfield.
