At approximately 11 a.m. on Aug. 17 Comal County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a male under a vehicle bleeding from his head at a property in the 3000 block of FM 2673, according to a press release.
Medics arrived at the scene and determined the adult victim had a hole in his head and no signs of life, the sheriff's office stated, and crime scene investigators found that the victim had been shot.
Witness statements and crime scene evidence identified the suspect as 40-year-old Brandon L. Woods of Kentucky, who was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Comal County Jail on one charge of murder - a first-degree felony - and failure to identify - a class B misdemeanor.
