15-year-old in custody after police chase ends in crash

ShareAdd Us On GoogleAdd as a preferred source on GoogleLUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A 15-year-old male is in police custody after a stolen vehicle chase ended in a crash at 19th Street and Avenue A. An LPD officer identified a stolen vehicle being driven in the area of 34th & University at 2:13 p.m. The officer tried to perform a traffic stop and the driver fled, leading to a pursuit.

The chase ended at 19th & A when the driver crashed into a utility pole.

The juvenile male was booked into the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center on a variety of unspecified charges.
