The Kerrville City Council met at City Hall on Tuesday, July 14, as did multiple concerned citizens, to discuss a resolution seeking financial assistance from the Texas Water Development Board.

Council ultimately approved the resolution upon a presentation by Kyle Burow, the city's director of engineering, and several citizens who spoke about the Elm Creek Pipeline and their concerns regarding where the financial assistance would go.

Burow presented to council a $21 million package that would be entirely funded by the $1. 038 billion appropriated by House Bill 500 from last legislative session for water supply and infrastructure projects.
