MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Construction continues to advance at the new Midland County Detention Center, with crews now focusing on systems and interior finishes.

Recent work includes installing lighting, security cameras, doors, furnishings, HVAC equipment, plumbing, fire suppression systems and interior finishes throughout the three-building complex.

Painting, flooring and tile work are underway in several areas.
