TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The eight robots deployed by Daxbot to complete a citywide accessibility survey are leaving town, said officials.

The roaming robots spent about a month evaluating roughly 94 miles of sidewalks, 122 signalized intersections and 54 transit stops as part of the city's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) self-evaluation.

ADA Coordinator Michael Howell said the next step is analyzing the data and setting priorities for an ADA transition plan aimed at improving accessibility and meeting state and federal requirements.
