A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder after he choked his father to death at their home in west Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a home in the 21400 block of Sagrantino Court around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026. When deputies arrived, they found 35-year-old Samson Hernandez unresponsive.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
