TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Crews are making progress in the City of Tyler's Downtown Improvement Project this week as they have started placing bricks down on portions of West Ferguson Street.
City of Tyler Engineer Darin Jennings says crews completed installing a water line and a sanitary sewer line, allowing crews to lay concrete and place the old bricks back down.
"Be patient, because you have seen what it's going to look like. Now you can see our vision for what this is going to look like," said Jennings, referring to the recently re-opened College Avenue and Erwin Street."That portion of Erwin took a long time," said Jennings.
