Hill Country Astronomers will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the Fellowship Hall of Zion Lutheran Church, 415 W. Austin St., Fredericksburg.

This month, Robert Reeves will introduce members to the basics of the moon, how it formed and discuss the types of geology the moon shows through a telescope.

HCA members will then "visit" 18 of his favorite places on the moon and a dozen other "nicknamed" features.
