MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - After a hearing in the 142nd district court, the two brothers accused of murdering a U.S. Navy veteran plead guilty and were sentenced to 10 years.

Jacob and Joseph Madrid were arrested back in March after Thomas Olson, was assaulted and killed outside of a Midland bar.

First Alert 7 spoke with Olson's family after his death, they say Olson was trying to save a young woman when he was assaulted.
