All four 11-man football teams were affected by the weather Friday night and one of the games - Boerne at Davenport - ended late in the third quarter with the Greyhounds recording the win.

Boerne Champion 55, Cedar Creek 0 The Chargers opened district play with a 55-0 win over Cedar Creek at BISD Stadium in a game that was delayed 30 minutes and didn't kick off until 7:30 p.m. because of lightning strikes in the area.

Caleb Farias ran for three touchdowns and now has seven rushing TDs this year to help the Chargers improve to 3-0.
