(KGNS) - Laredo police told the city's Suicide Prevention Committee that the 15 deaths recorded so far match the total for all of 2021.

The city is nearing last year's total of 18, police said.

Officers said 11 of the 13 attempts and deaths reported in October involved people under 30.
