HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - The city of McAllen on Monday morning celebrated the 24th Annual Texas Regional Bank Amateur Golf Championship.

McAllen Parks & Recreation also recognized 20 youth golfers who are receiving scholarships through its golf program.

The city of McAllen said over the past two years, 42 scholarships have been awarded.
