The Ingram City Council approved a commitment to apply for a $4 million federal grant for business development following a tied vote decided by the mayor.

The Ingram City Council narrowly approved committing to an application for a $4 million federal grant for business development at their meeting on Monday, July 20.
With a 2-2 vote, Mayor Claud Jordan cast the deciding vote to approve the commitment.
