Laredo police plan new intelligence center with expanded surveillance technology

The Laredo Police Department plans to modernize its intelligence and crime-fighting center with new technology and a new facility expected to be completed by next year.

(KGNS) - The Laredo Police Department outlined a plan to modernize its intelligence and crime-fighting center during a presentation to City Council on June 15.

A new 8,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed by next year.
