TEXAS CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- If you're headed down Palmer Highway in Texas City, you're told to use caution after reports of road buckling in the area on Thursday.

Texas City officials said the roadway buckled along the highway at 33rd Street and shared images of the bump on social media.

The city said TxDOT was aware and was "working to remedy the situation as quickly as possible." ABC13 has reached out to see whether the incident is heat-related.
