MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - U.S. Rep. August Pfluger was in Midland on Friday with Mayor Lori Blong and Police Chief Seth Snow following the Midland mass shooting on June 12. Pfluger asked people to continue to pray for all the victims and their loved ones.

He wrote on Facebook Friday: "I am grateful for local, state, and federal law enforcement who secured the scene and the many officers who engaged in a prolonged standoff. Many heroic actions were undertaken today to protect the community.
