A decade into her teaching career, Nathana Morris has spent the last two years enriching the lives of students where she grew up in May.

"I just celebrated my 10th year of teaching," Morris said.

"I taught and coached at Rising Star for 8 years. I'm currently teaching at May ISD. I also graduated from May, so it's been nice to be back home these last 2 years." Morris teaches junior high English and Reading at her alma mater.
