HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was arrested early Friday morning after a SWAT scene that stemmed from a family disturbance call in southwest Houston, according to the police department.

Officials said around 7: 20 p.m., Thursday, officers responded to Clarewood Dr near Lugary in response to a call regarding the suspect who allegedly cut his brother's throat after an argument.

The Houston Police Department said the suspect's family called 911, and officers arrived at the scene, but were met with the suspect allegedly holding what police said were knives.
