WHITESBORO, Texas (KXII) - 3D Martial Arts & Tactical Defense opened its newly built obstacle course Tuesday morning at its facility on U.S. Highway 82. Co-owner Larry Stevenson said the course was built to get people moving again."What we find is people's thumb muscles are built looking at their phone, but we really exist in a sedentary environment," Stevenson said.
"This is a way to keep people active, get people out and off the couch. We don't run jump and play anymore, but here you can run, jump, climb."A course built for movementThe course is meant for students, families and people from surrounding communities who want to try something physical.
For some students, the challenge was real."Yeah, it was a little hard when I got to the top cause the rope got a lot thicker and I did get a little nervous, but it was fun," Ethan Woodruff said.
