HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - More than 1,500 AEP Texas customers are without power this afternoon.

Nearly all of the outages stretch from the Military Highway south of San Benito, through that city and stretching across Rio Hondo and Arroyo City.

Another 100 customers in Hidalgo, Willacy and Starr counties have no lights at this hour.
