CHRISTUS is set to open a new hospital facility in the Veramendi development at 2332 Loop 337, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The 35,000-square foot micro-hospital facility is set to include a 10 exam room emergency department with three triage and intake rooms, three modality imaging suites, four inpatient beds and four operating rooms, along with with the requisite prep and recovery spaces and additional hospital support spaces, according to the filing.

An opening date for the facility has not been confirmed, however, construction on the $28 million project is set to begin Aug. 31, 2026, and wrap up by April 28, 2028, the filing stated.
