Concerned residents gathered June 18 at Cowboy Fellowship to discuss the possibility of data centers being developed in Atascosa County and the potential impact such projects could have on the community.

The meeting featured a resident from Matagorda County who owns property in Atascosa County and has been opposing proposed data center developments in her own county since March.

She said she wanted to educate local residents about the projects and encourage public involvement.
