SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - -On Thursday night, Toadies took the stage at 'Hot Summer Nights.' For the band's bassist Donivan Blair, the show was personal.

Blair was born and raised in Sherman, attended school in the area and has friends and family across Grayson County.

He said performing in his hometown felt surreal."It's a big thing for me to come back here and play here to all of my family and my friends, people I've known," Blair said.
