SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Denison is hosting multiple Juneteenth events this weekend.

City councilman Aaron Thomas joined Caroline on Talk of the Town to discuss the upcoming festivities.

The Denison Juneteenth Music on Main Parade & Concert kicks off on Friday, June 19, with the parade starting at 6 p.m. Musicians Bryan Ezell and Big Joe Walker will take the stage for Music on Main, which will be located at Forest Park in Downtown Denison and starts at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, NTX B.R.I.D.G.E. will host the 2026 Denison Juneteenth Festival.
