At Monday's meeting of the Brown County Commissioners Court, approval was given to the appointment of Harold Thomas as Constable, Precinct 4.

That position became vacant recently upon the retirement of Mike Isbell.

Precinct 4 Commissioner Larry Traweek organized a search committee, which interviewed five candidates.
