Boerne High's historic water polo season came to an end last week after the Lady Greyhounds were defeated in the second round of the playoffs Thursday by the Johnson Jaguars with a football- like score of 21-6.

This was the third year for the Greyhounds to play water polo and the 2026 girls team made history because they were the first to clinch a playoff spot and the first to win a postseason match.

The Boerne girls finished the year at 6-10 overall.
