When Meagan Booth's daughter Brylee turned 15 and started driver's education, Booth found herself thinking about more than just parallel parking and highway merges.
Brylee has autism, and Booth said watching her prepare to drive brought up concerns she hadn't fully considered before.
"Having a daughter with autism, I had heard stories and seen things online about how traffic stop interactions between drivers with autism and other communication challenges and law enforcement officers didn't always go so well," Booth said.
