A large batch of shell eggs sold across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana is being pulled from shelves after Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. said the products may be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis, according to a company recall notice posted by the FDA.

The recall covers about 1. 59 million dozen eggs, including white shell eggs and brown cage-free eggs produced at the company's Texas farms.

The eggs were distributed between June 6 and July 3, 2026, and the cartons have "sell by" or "best by" dates ranging from July 20 through Aug. 17, 2026.
