CLIFTON, Texas (KWTX) - Fans attending high school football games and other school sporting events in Texas this season are facing strict new penalties for bad behavior in the stands.
Clifton Independent School District (CISD) released a detailed fan and spectator behavior guidelines aligned with Texas Senate Bill 2929, a state law that took effect for the 2025-2026 school year.
Under SB 2929, game officials have the authority to immediately remove spectators for disruptive or inappropriate behavior without issuing a prior warning.
