A federal appeals court upheld Texas' ban on in-state tuition for undocumented students, ending over two decades of access under the Texas Dream Act.

LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) - A federal appeals court has upheld Texas' ban on in-state tuition for students without legal status, ending more than two decades of access under the Texas Dream Act and leaving local students and their peers facing a significant cost difference.
In a 2-1 decision July 9, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the return of the Texas Dream Act.
