Two people were injured during an early-morning shooting at a parking lot takeover in a northeast Harris County parking lot, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The incident happened at about 1:15 a.m. on Friday in the parking lot of the Home Depot off the Eastex Freeway and Little York Road.

Ryan Hilz, an altercation occurred before the shooting, and one victim drove away and eventually was found off the Beltway and rushed to the hospital.
