Fabien Chavez is the new director of bands for the Poth Independent School District, and band director of the Poth High School Mighty Pirate Band.

Twin brothers Fabien and Damien Chavez, both 2021 graduates of Lanier High School, achieved remarkable academic success as the valedictorian (Damien) and salutatorian (Fabien) of their graduating class.
