Authorities have arrested a convicted felon and recovered the bulk of more than 30 firearms stolen during an October burglary in Christine, the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office announced.

Juan Samaniego faces charges of burglary and possession of a firearm by a felon following an investigation into the Oct. 8 break-in.

According to sheriff's officials, members of the Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol divisions pursued multiple leads in the case, eventually securing and executing several search warrants across the area.
