ATLANTA, Texas (KLTV) - Atlanta Public Library will host a traveling animal show at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Side Baptist Church in Atlanta to benefit the library and its summer reading program.

The free community event features hands-on encounter with animals that have accompanied the library's programs, including armadillos, baby kangaroos and a sloth, among other animals."It's all completely free," said Kendra Hayes, the library's director.

"What this does is get people into the community and into the library's space and help spread the word about what we have and what we can do to help people and to get them resources."Hayes and Program Director Randi Stratton said the returning animal show is brought by an Austin-based troupe Wild Things Zoofari.
