COLLECTOR County commissioners this past week named veteran finance professional Catherine Totty as the new Williamson County tax-assessor collector after Larry Gaddes stepped down.

The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved Totty's appointment during its July 14 meeting.

Her first day on the job will be Tuesday, July 21, after she is sworn in during the commissioners' meeting.
